Can't grumble with the league form. Two games and two wins to leave ne second in the league on goal diffeence. Though was on the wrong end of a cup set when I got knocked out of the English Cup by a team a level below me in the second round. Not to worry though this has given me the impetus to compete in the football forums federation cup and a good start was had. Today travelled to Denmark and recorded a 4-0 away victory over Athletico Islev.

As expected our first round English cup opponents offered no resistance whatsoever. Not surprising seeing as it was a bot team. Final score was 8-0 to Ironopolis with both English strikers getting a hattrick & our Dutch midfield maestro bagging a brace.

Today the Politburo are pleased to announce that a new Union of Youth organisation has been created. The favoured sons of our proletarian stalwarts will now find themselves a part of the the new Youth Squad section.

Given the title of Komsomol & playing out of the socialist enclave of Kiveton tucked away in the Southern badlands of the South Yorkshire Republic it is hoped that the new youth squad will be a breeding ground for stars of the future.

Part of the newly formed FF Original Youth League they start their education on Monday the 2nd of April when they play their first game.

How have your supporters reacted at the end of the season?

Blimey can't understand mine, well yes I know it's all down to the great god random but hey come on. I've just had my highest ever league finish & broken club stats records left right & centre in the season that's just ended BUT since the final league game of the season, which I lost 3-0 at home to the league champions, my supporters have been leaving droves!!

Oh joy. Ironopolis gained a famous victory in last weeks FF UT-Shield final. Two early goals were enough to see off Northern Ireland's Albany Rangers and the lads returned home from the USA with their first gleaming trophy.

Finally after eight long seasons of turmoil, knock backs and disappointments our working class heroes have made the final of one of the Football Forums Hattrick Federation's friendly cup tournaments.

For the first time ever Ironopolis have reached the semi finals of the FF UT-Shield. Tuesday 6th March 2007 sees us take on the Mighty Diamonds after despatching Dynamo Drew in the quarter finals.
