fans expectation

Do you think that the new 'fans' page adds anything to the game? I
think that it is generally good to try and make the game more realistic, and the fans reaction to results and the effect upon attendances is all part of that. however, on the negative side i have noticed that my fans have successfully predicted nearly all my results this season.
I do feel that too much predictability in any game takes away the excitement. Has anyone had the same findings as me, or not?
