Niemand hatte erwartet dass der TVA im Pokal etwas holen würde, doch die Höhe der Niederlage schmerzte dann doch etwas und warf auch doch nochmal einige Fragen auf. Ist dieses Team wirklich gerüstet für die neue Saison in Liga 8? Reicht das Spielermaterial aus, spielen momentan auch wirklich die besten Leute?
Und sogar Trainer Lars Grosen wirkte zeitweise etwas geschockt. Natürlich der Gegner war ganz klar einige Klassen besser, aber das man sich sieben Tore fängt und vorne nur eine kleine Chance hat, das darf eigentlich nicht passieren, waren sich Fans und Vereinsvertreter gleichermaßen einig. Und tatsächlich scheint jetzt doch noch einmal Bewegung ins Team zu kommen denn zumindest zwei Positionen sind wohl noch nicht endgültig besetzt und beide Spieler konnten am Dienstag nicht grade Punkte sammeln. Immer lauter werden die Stimmen, die wieder einen Platz für Hansi Huppertz in der Abwehr fordern und tatsächlich scheint das auch jetzt nicht mehr allzu unwahrscheinlich zu sein. Roman Parashutinskiy schien jedenfalls absolut überfordert zu sein und so ist es nun plötzlich völlig offen, und wohl von den letzten Trainingseindrücken abhängig, wer am Samstag spielen wird. Auch im Mittelfeld ist noch nicht klar, ob Justino Coimbra seinen Platz in der Zentrale behält, oder ob doch der junge Marian Reich eine Chance bekommen wird. Ein kleines Highlight an diesem Abend war allerdings Neuzugang Ruben Lallena, der sich direkt als spritzig und kampfstark präsentierte und bei dem zweifelsohne gute Ansätze zu erkennen waren!
Und noch etwas gutes gibt es heute aus Alzey zu berichten: Am heutigen Tage hat das Jugendinternat des TVA seine Pforten geöffnet! Ein so großes Ereignis muss natürlich besonders gefeiert werden und so gab es einen Empfang mit Sekt und Lachsschnittchen für Lokalpolitiker, B-Prominente, Vereinsmitglieder und sogar die Eltern der Jugendspieler.
