Qualifier / Skonto Wanderers: exp disaster

Qualifier against bot team Amatieris Aizkraukle looked like a easy win standing on one foot. That's why all SW young, yet unexperienced players were in starting line. MOTS, composed spirit, high confidence, home pitch - no problem. Risk of relegation seemed like a silly joke.
Skonto scored early - penalty on 6th minute by young estonian Kuno Tähisma. After the pressure went on. And there it started. Green IMs looked like tired dogs already. Posession was equal. Attackers couldn't create ANYTHING on powerfull wings. Opponent defs were to experienced to be beaten by simple runs and crosses. The only chance came in the centre - Edmunds Pujacs missed... Home defence still perfect.
2nd half: no stamina. Bot starts to pull all the action on our half of the pitch. Wanderers defending bravely,.. but oh my - a corner, bot equalizes. What a disaster! Reserves r trying to pull themselves together. But no luck in front. To tired... Defence hardly stands against opponent attacks. But it still doesn't looks desperate!.. 2half whistle. Overtime.
Most of SW players r hardly moving around at defence line. But we survived it. Penalty shootout.
And there the storms strikes. Nervous kicks of Abushinov and Buntāns went by. What a paradox - they are boti wingers. The main attacking force of the match (except fw of course =] ). Useless... All bot footballers r calm. The only missed goal was saved by keeper Andriyanov. But it was too late. Skonto Wanderers is going back to VI.div. after 6 seasons. Menegment shocked. Fans silently leaving. Sponsors still can't realize what happened. The dark day for Skonto...
